Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions describe the rights and obligations of Tatem Telecom and its Services.

Services

Tatem Telecom will use its mobile app and website to deliver the Services to you. Our network may occasionally be offline for emergencies, upgrades, maintenance, or security-related reasons. Although extremely unlikely, the Services may be momentarily unavailable during certain periods. Tatem Telecom disclaims all warranties and guarantees about the availability, quality, and coverage of the network in all locations at all times; the services’ suitability for your particular needs; and the total security of the services against unauthorized interception, for the aforementioned reasons. Tatem Telecom will make every effort to minimize any disruption to the Services; nevertheless, Tatem Telecom shall not be responsible to you for any loss, harm, or inconvenience that you may suffer as a result of any, as previously mentioned, disruption to the Services.

SIM Card and ESIM

The SIM card is exclusively owned by Tatem Telecom. The SIM card needs to be preserved; it can’t get damaged or lost. Tatem Telecom will only replace a SIM card if it is found to be defective as a result of subpar manufacturing or design. Tatem Telecom may charge you for a replacement SIM card if it has reasonable suspicions that you are to fault for the theft or loss of your original SIM card, or if Tatem Telecom discovers that your original SIM card has been misplaced or damaged. If your SIM card is lost, damaged, stolen, or used fraudulently or unlawfully, you need to report it to Tatem Telecom immediately.

Data Protection and Security

Only in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations, as updated from time to time, will Tatem Telecom produce, acquire, use, process, and maintain personal data. Tatem Telecom has put in place the necessary structural and technical security measures to guard against your personal information being processed improperly or illegally, accessed, disclosed, lost, altered, or destroyed accidentally or illegally.
By creating or confirming an account with Tatem Telecom, you give Tatem Telecom permission to gather, use, and distribute any Personal Data you give or that is produced when delivering the Services to you. For the following uses, this contains data regarding voice calls, texts, and other communications you have sent (“Traffic Data”), as well as location information from your mobile device (“Location Data”).
  • Delivering the goods and services to you; managing your account through the Customer Services Department; and giving you service-related information, like when there are network issues.
  • Adhering to relevant rules and regulations; doing market research and creating a profile of your usage and purchasing preferences; and preventing or detecting fraud.
  • Tatem Telecom has the right to occasionally record or monitor the chats you have with the customer service department. This could be carried out for fraud detection, quality control, service improvement, guaranteeing compliance with legal, regulatory, or enforcement agency requests, or any combination of these.
Tatem Telecom shall comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Any changes to any Personal Data you may have submitted to Tatem Telecom must be reported by you to Tatem Telecom. You can also ask that any inaccurate data be updated. At your request, Tatem Telecom shall update or remove Personal Data as allowed by current laws and regulations.
To inform you about its offerings, including any special deals and promotions that could be of interest to you, Tatem Telecom may get in touch with you via phone, email, or SMS. You may always opt out of this direct marketing at any time for free by asking to be placed on a designated list if you would prefer not to receive this information or be approached in this manner.
For any cause outside of Tatem Telecom’s control, including but not limited to an Act of God, a natural disaster, industrial action, war (declared or undeclared), civil unrest or terrorist acts, actions of the government, a local authority, a regulatory body, or any decision made by a court of adequate jurisdiction, Tatem Telecom declines any responsibility for any harm, loss, or inconvenience you may experience because of such causes. Additionally, Tatem Telecom declines all responsibility to supply the Goods or Services if not availed.

    Changes to Terms and Conditions

For legal or regulatory purposes, Tatem Telecom retains the right to modify these terms and conditions. In addition, we might have to modify these terms and conditions due to modifications made by our network providers or for other business-related or technological reasons, like adjustments made to our products and services. Additionally, we might add new charges or modify our current ones. From time to time, adjustments to the charges will be shown in our tariff table. After Tatem Telecom modifies, you are deemed to have accepted it if you continue to use the Services or top off your Account.

Please periodically check our website for updates. We may also send you an email, write a letter, send you a text message, advertise in the national media, or use any other appropriate method to let you know about changes. Additionally, we might leave a message on our Customer Services Department’s phone line.
